ARA, June 18 -- Anti-social elements badly damaged a temple situated on roadside at Mopti Bazar under Tarari block on Monday night. It is said that the temple was damaged probably with the help of a JCB machine. Agitated over the incident, locals blocked the Bihta-Bihiya road on Tuesday for hours. Police force of several police stations led by Piro SDPO Krishn Kumar Singh reached the spot and pacified the irate people. Piro SDO Krishna Upadhyay also reached the spot. Tarari MLA Vishal Prashant laid the foundation stone by cracking the coconut for reconstruction of the temple and a committee of five members was constituted on behest of local administration.
