tejashwi stays guarded on expulsion of bro tej pratap
PATNA, June 3 -- Even as former minister Tej Pratap Yadav faces an uncertain political future after his party formalised his expulsion as primary member of RJD for six years following a controversy involving him over pictures with a woman, leader of the opposition Tejaswhi Prasad Yadav on Monday made a guarded response to the party's decision.
A letter issued by national general secretary of RJD and MLC, Abdul Bari Siddiqui, was shared in the media by the party on Sunday, which stated that Tej Pratap Yadav has been expelled from the primary membership of the party for six years on the instruction of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Earlier on Sunday, Tej Pratap had made series of posts, where he had called his parents , RJD chief Lalu Prasad and mother and former chief minister Rabri Devi, as his God and also had made a veiled attack on certain detractors, calling them 'Jaichands' who were trying to create a rift between him and his younger brother Tejashwi Prasad Yadav. He had expressed his love and support for his younger brother Tejashwi too in his posts.
Today, Tejashwi chose to remain guarded in his response to the 'Jaichand' barb of Tej Pratap and when asked to react, he chose to be careful. "Whatever is the matter, RJD chief has already made his decision clear. RJD chief is a very experienced person and knows what is best for the party and the state. He has taken a decision and there should not be much talk on it. I do not want to comment on it or somebody's personal matters," Yadav said....
