Sub-panels formed for polls
PATNA, May 26 -- Coordination committee of Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) on Sunday announced various sub-committees, comprising leaders of its constituent partners, to prepare for the Assembly elections, due in October-November.
According to a notification issued by leader of the opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, who is also chairman of the state-level coordination committee of INDIA, there are three leaders each from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Congress in the 14-member campaign sub-committee. Sanjay Yadav and Abhay Kushwaha (both MPs) and Bhola Yadav (former MLA) have been named in the committee as RJD nominees, while Mohd Jawed, Manoj Ram (both MPs) and Samir Kumar Singh (MLC) will represent the party in the campaign sub-committee.
Shashi Yadav (MLC), Prakash Kumar (both CPI-ML), Sandip Yadav and BK Singh (VIP), Janki Paswan and Sanjay Kumar Yadav (CPI), Ahmad Ali and Vinod Sharma (CPI-M) have also been named in the committee.
RJD member of Rajya Sabha Manoj Jha and Buxar MP Sudhakar Singh have been named among the 14-member joint manifesto committee which has Amitabh Dubey, Karuna Sagar and Shiv Jatan Thakur as Congress nominees. Prof Nawal Kishore, Priyanka Bharti and Sarika Paswan have been included in the media and communication sub-committee, which also comprises Abhay Dubey and Rajesh Rathore ( Cong), Kumar Parwez (CPI-ML), Dev Jyoti (VIP) and Nivedita (CPI).
Likewise, social media sub-committee and election commission and law-related sub-committee have also been announced. The notification said role of these sub-committees would be advisory and they would submit their report and recommendations to the chairman of the coordination committee....
