SRK, Kajol's iconic bronze statue unveiled in London
India, Dec. 6 -- Actors Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol reunited in London to mark 30 years of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) (DDLJ) by unveiling a bronze statue of their iconic pose from the film at Leicester Square. This is the first time an Indian movie has been honoured with a statue as part of the scenes in the Square trail.
SRK took to Instagram to share how 'thrilled' he is on this special occasion. "Bade Bade Deshon Mein, Aisi Chhoti Chhoti Baatein Hoti Rehti Hain, Senorita!" he began in his caption, recalling the iconic dialogue from the film.
Meanwhile, echoing the sentiments, Kajol shared, "For me, Simran is a chapter that refuses to end. She represents millions of girls across this country - girls who want to do what their parents say, who carry tradition in one hand but still reach out for freedom with the other.
