Son of PACS chairman killed in Muzaffarpur
PATNA, May 17 -- Son of PACS (Primary Agricultural Credit Societies) chairman Lalita Devi, Sanjay Choudhary alias Ramnavmi, died while another youth, Guddu Singh, was injured in a shooting incident near LP Sahi College under the jurisdiction of Muzaffarpur's Sadar police station area late Thursday evening.
Choudhary's wife Rekha Devi is the member of panchayat samiti.
Upon receiving the information, Sadar police rushed to the spot. Severely injured Choudhary was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead while his friend Guddu Singh is undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
He had survived a similar attack nearly three days ago when miscreants opened fire on him in the Town Police area. Police said that preliminary investigation revealed that Choudhary was killed over land-related dispute or political rivalry. The attack led to immediate chaos in the area. The police have initiated a thorough investigation, exploring all possible angles. CCTV footage from the area is being analysed to track down the perpetrators of the crime....
