SASARAM/JHALDA, May 8 -- Intelligence Bureau officer Manish Ranjan (41), was assassinated in Pahalgam terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22. The people and relatives at his native Aruhi village under Kargahar block of Rohtas district in south Bihar were happy and thankful after Indian armed forces' retaliatory action on the night of May 6, the day they performed the 'shradh' ceremony of Manish. Manish's last rites were performed at Jhalda in West Bengal where his father Mangalesh Kumar Mishra, a retired teacher, had settled with the family two decades back. "Father has undergone bypass surgery. Mother (Jaya) is still in shock and in doctor's care even after 15 days of the incident. She gets scared and starts screaming whenever she sees the picture or hears the mention of the incident. She does not talk even to family members," Manish's younger brother Rahul Ranjan said. Rahul said that the army's action was commendable but the same action should be taken against internal terrorists who raises slogans of 'Pakistan zindabad' after killing innocent citizens. Such elements who supported and spread terror, should be searched and killed one by one. Enemies within the country caused more harm, he said....
