BETTIAH, June 3 -- At least six people belonging to a family were injured, two of them critically, after a car in which they were travelling veered off the road and rammed a tree at a place in Bihar's West Champaran district on Monday morning. Ajay Kumar, SHO Naurangiya said the incident occurred when a car carrying six persons en route to Bagaha from Valmikinagar collided with a tree at Dardiya Chati under Naurangiya police station of Bagaha, on Monday early morning. "In all, six people were injured in the incident which looks to have occurred as the driver lost control over the vehicle," the SHO said. Sources quoting eye-witnesses said the heavy screech arising from the sudden use of the brake was heard. "Then, we got to know the driver of the vehicle, while trying to save an animal, lost balance and hit the tree," said a villager....
