PATNA, Dec. 29 -- Union minister Giriraj Singh on Sunday said that the way Bihar has transformed in the last 20 years is amply reflected through the increased business activity, which is directly linked to people's purchasing power. He was speaking after inaugurating the restaurant "One and Only" in PC Colony, Kankarbagh, a start-up by young entrepreneur Shwetank Singh, who returned to his roots after attaining higher education in Stockholm, Sweden. "This is also a reflection of how Bihar is viewed today compared to what it was two decades ago. A young entrepreneur, having studied in Stockholm, returning to Bihar shows the confidence the state now radiates. I wish the restaurant would soon expand into a chain due to its quality service and hospitality," the Union minister added. Singh said it was not just about one restaurant, which has an exquisite ambience, a separate banquet hall, and many facilities to cater to different needs and create employment opportunities. "In Begusarai, when I see 194 showrooms of automobiles present, it reflects the strides the state has taken under chief minister Nitish Kumar to build a developed Bihar, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi has envisioned for a developed India by 2047," the Union minister added.
