Shah: Oppn parties will be wiped out on Nov 14
PATNA, Nov. 4 -- "On November 14, the parties of Rahul and Lalu will be completely wiped out," Union home minister Amit Shah announced at a Sheohar rally, igniting the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) fierce final sprint for Bihar's assembly polls.
With voting on November 6 and 11 across 243 seats, Shah's blistering speech championed NDA unity and development while slamming the Mahagathbandhan's confusion, framing the choice as Nitish Kumar's stability versus a relapse into "jungle raj."
Addressing packed gatherings in Sheohar and Sitamarhi, Shah compared the NDA's five-party bloc-BJP, JD(U), LJP (RV), HAM and RLM-to the Mahabharata's Pandavas. "The Mahagathbandhan lacks a leader, policy or even seat clarity," he ridiculed, pledging an overwhelming win to reinstall the NDA government.
Shah spotlighted cultural revival, unveiling the Sitamarhi Sita temple overhaul. "Its consecration will coincide with launching the Vande Bharat Express to Ayodhya, channeling pilgrims and tourism revenue to Bihar," he said, tying Ramayana legacy to economic gains.
He lambasted Rahul Gandhi for allegedly insulting Chhath Maiya through Modi attacks, cautioning, "Every time you've targeted Modi ji, voters crushed you. This time, recall it at the booth." Shah branded Gandhi's Voter Adhikar Yatra a "ghuspaithia bachao yatra," claiming it protects Bangladeshi infiltrators who snatch jobs, rations, and electoral voice. "They can't pick Bihar's CM," he stressed.
On development, Shah contrasted UPA's Rs.2.8 lakh crore to Bihar in 10 years with NDA's Rs.18.7 lakh crore in 11. He pledged raising PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi to Rs.9,000 yearly and elevating Darbhanga, Purnia, and Bhagalpur airports to international hubs. Praising the Nitish-Modi tandem for banishing "jungle raj" and dynasties, he noted Bihar's first naxal-free polls, extending voting to 5 pm-unlike Congress-era early cutoffs.
Chief minister Nitish Kumar, NDA's Bihar face, conducted three rallies in Bhagalpur district, including Sultanganj, and showcased his regime's achievement of providing power from 1-2 hours to nearly 23 in the state, reducing travel durations and ensuring nighttime safety for women. Labeling RJD's tenure "jungle raj" of abductions and shakedowns, he declared, "Bihari pride is restored; NDA's double-engine alone will deliver flood control and jobs." He scoffed at Tejashwi Yadav's vows as unreliable.
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath blitzkrieged Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur and Saran. In Keoti (Darbhanga), he revered Mithila's icons-from Vidyapati to Rajendra Prasad-celebrating the fulfilled Ayodhya Ram Temple and forthcoming Sitamarhi Sita shrine via Ram-Janaki corridor. "Darbhanga thrives as north Bihar's nucleus, thanks to Makhana Board, upgraded roads, rails, aviation, and impartial scheme rollout," he asserted.
Denouncing RJD-Congress-SP as "anti-Ram, anti-Janaki, anti-Hindu," Adityanath cited their rule's 70+ massacres, over 30,000 kidnappings, and infiltrator influx, with aid looted by family mafias. He derided the "INDI Alliance's three monkeys"-Pappu (Rahul), Tappu (Tejashwi), Appu (Akhilesh)-as oblivious to NDA feats, guilty of caste rifts, criminal coddling, and slights to Ambedkar and JP Narayan, whose legacies NDA honored, including Sitab Diara hospital. In Muzaffarpur and Saran, he swore NDA victory would expel infiltrators, redirect their assets to the needy, and unleash bulldozers on crooks, mirroring UP's playbook. "Free rations for 80 crore, lacquer bangle promotion, heritage uplift-we guarantee vikas, virasat, samridhi, suraksha. No Lalu scion or Sonia heir; Nitish rules Bihar, Modi Delhi," he mirrored Shah.
NDA titans fused heritage, handouts, and rival-bashing in a charged day. November 14 results hinge on turnout and strategy: NDA's momentum or Mahagathbandhan's comeback. The Pandavas' fate awaits....
