Several vehicles seized for poll code violations
	
		
				PATNA, Nov. 4 -- District police, along with Special Task Force (STF), seized several vehicles, loudspeakers, DJ systems and other equipment for violations of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) ahead of the Assembly election scheduled to be held in Patna on November 6.
City SP (West) BP Singh said a special team was conducting vehicle checks in the Mahinawa area under Maner police station limits when it found that a political party had used its banner on a pickup van fitted with four loudspeakers, a DJ system and a generator. The items were seized, and an FIR was lodged at Maner police station, he added.
