Sasaram KV principal caught by CBI accepting Rs.32,000 bribe
PATNA, May 22 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sleuths on Wednesday arrested the Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Sasaram, for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.32,000 from a complainant.
The CBI has registered an FIR against the said accused Mayank Kumar Shrivastava on allegations that he had demanded a bribe of Rs.32,000 from the complainant, proprietor of a private enterprise which is a registered GEM supplier, for releasing his pending bill of Rs.1.92 lakh for some supply material.
Thereafter, the Central agency laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed while demanding and accepting the bribe of the same amount from the complainant. Subsequently, accused was arrested by CBI and will be produced before the CBI Court on Thursday....
