PATNA, April 29 -- An altercation that started over some money-related matter turned into a communal flare up and people from two communities indulged in clashes at Ishuapur police station area of Bihar's Saran district, police said on Monday. While police claimed to have pacified the mob, deployment of personnel was increased. Preventive sections like Section 144 was imposed to curb gathering of large crowds. Police said that the spark was an altercation over refund of change money at Mohammadpur village and it spiralled into protests and communal tension. A complaint has been lodged with Ishuapur police station against seven names and 20 unidentified persons on the charges of attack on two persons - Amrendra Prasad and Nitish Kumar Singh. It has also been alleged gold chain and cash of Rs 9,500 from both the persons were also snatched. Amrendra in his complaint alleged that a shopkeeper Sahivaan Ansari refused to refund change money after he purchased bananas and used derogatory remarks related to recent terror attack at Pahalgam (Jammu and Kashmir). Meanwhile, Saran SP, Kumar Ashish, confirmed that the dispute between two groups led to scuffle. "Police have taken inhibitory action against ten people from both sides under sections of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and additional forces have been deployment at the spot," said the SP, adding that situation was under control....
