PATNA, July 2 -- The cabinet also approved Rs.882.87 crore for the development of Maa Janaki's grand temple at Punaura Dham, believed to be the birthplace of Goddess Sita, in Sitamarhi district. Modelled on Ayodhya's Ram Janmabhoomi, the project aims to transform Punaura Dham into a key spiritual and tourism hub within the Ramayana Circuit, fostering economic growth and employment through religious tourism.
