RJD denies ticket to son of late sharad yadav
MADHEPURA, Oct. 18 -- The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has denied a party ticket to Shantanu Yadav, son of late veteran Sharad Yadav, from Madhepura constituency.
Reacting to the decision, Shantanu took to X, calling it a "defeat of socialism on the land of socialists." He said people would teach the party a lesson.
In his post in Hindi, he wrote: "Those who are not loyal to their own blood, how can they be loyal to others? ... This is the height of betrayal and an example of unease. The conspiracy they have hatched will be returned to them by the people in the election."
The RJD has fielded Chandrashekhar, the incumbent MLA, from Madhepura.
During the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Shantanu was in the race for a party ticket but was asked to prepare for the assembly polls instead. He was reportedly assured a ticket, but has been denied again....
