AURANGABAD, Aug. 13 -- A Vigilance Investigation Bureau (VIB) team on Tuesday arrested a revenue department employee red-handed while he was taking Rs.20,000 bribe from a farmer for updating his land records on Parimarjan Plus Portal in Aurangabad, officials said. The raid was conducted by a Patna-based vigilance team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Vikas Kumar Shrivastava. A farmer, Uday Kumar of Manikpur village, had filed an online application on the Parimarjan Plus Portal for rectification and updating of his land records. Pramod Kumar, Halka Karmchari (KC) of Sonhuli Halka in Obra circle, allegedly demanded Rs.1.75 lakh - Rs.1.5 lakh for the Circle Officer (CO) and Rs.20,000 for himself, the farmer claimed in his complaint....
