Rajnath: NDA doesn't divide people on caste
AURANGABAD/MOHANIA, Nov. 10 -- Defence minister Rajnath Singh criticised Telangana CM Revanth Reddy for his "Congress means Muslims and Muslims mean Congress" comment, calling it a sheer degradation of politics. Addressing an election rally at Goh in Aurangabad, Singh said the BJP-led NDA did not divide people on the basis of religion, caste and creed.
Singh said that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) never creates divisions between people on the basis of religion, caste or sect, which the Congress and RJD have been trying to do. The same people who plunged Bihar into an era of caste conflict and massacres are now seeking votes in its name. People must remain alert about such forces, he said.
He said BJP and the NDA would fulfil all their promises and never remain silent on misconduct in politics. Singh said, " We never do wrong things in politics, and if something wrong happens, we do not remain silent. A leader is one who keeps his word," he said.
Singh said people of Bihar must decide whether they wanted jungle raj or developed Bihar. He said, "A defence corridor will soon be established in Bihar, which will boost employment and industrial development in the state".
Taking a dig at Tejashwi Yadav at Mohania in Kaimur, he said, "He promises government jobs for every family. This is a blatant lie. Where will the money come from?" Singh asked.
In the region known as "Granary of Bihar", Rajnath announced the Centre would increase the annual amount to farmers under Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme from Rs.6,000 to Rs.9,000....
