PATNA, Sept. 6 -- Just a couple of days after home minister Amit Shah gave his mantra to the BJP core committee leaders to put up a united NDA show in every assembly constituency, the alliance on Friday announced to further intensify its joint outreach plan up to the booth level in the run up to elections in October-November to achieve the objective of bagging 225 seats in 2025. JD(U) state president Umesh Kushwaha and BJP state president Dlip Jaiswal, along with representatives of the other three NDA constituents -- LJP-R, HAM-S and Rashtriya Lok Morcha -- on Thursday told media persons at a joint press conference that the Vidhan Sabha-wise NDA meetings were already on and the third phases was in progress, while in the fourth phase starting September 10 would be intensive to galvanise workers at every booth. "The response seen at NDA's Vidhan Sabha-level worker conventions makes us feel that the people of Bihar have made up their mind to give NDA a mandate that will script history. In the upcoming Assembly elections, NDA is striving for 225 seats to realise the objective of '2025 se 30, phir se Nitish'. We will ensure that the Opposition struggles for even one seat," said Kushwaha. The JD-U leader said that the cohesion and hard work of the NDA workers at the ground level to take the positive message of Bihar's rapid and inclusive development were getting overwhelming response, pushing an already jittery Opposition into dismay and disarray. "In the fourth phase, senior leaders will lead 14 different teams in different parts from September 10-16 to cover various segments . In the first two phases, our teams covered 78 Vidhan Sabha constituencies and the third phase will conclude on September 9 with another 20 Assembly seats to take the total to 107," he added. BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal said that after the fourth phase covering 69 more Vidhan Sabha seats, plan would be worked out for the fifth and sixth phase to take the message of Bihar's development and prosperity under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to the people. "The cohesion of the NDA workers at the grassroots level, their hard work to make people aware of the work done for them and the plans for the future have evoked tremendous appreciation, while the Opposition has nothing to speak on Bihar's transformation. They are merely trying to distract and mislead, while Bihar's development saga, which has touched every section, is engrained in the minds of the people," Jaiswal said. The BJP state chief said all the senior leaders were involved in the outreach, which would cover all the 243 seats and lend more strength to the organisational set up by involving and energising the workers....
