Police enhance award to Rs.2L for clue of missing siblings
Ranchi, Jan. 12 -- Police enhanced award money to Rs.2 lakh from Rs. 51,000 for giving clue of siblings missing from Mausibari under Dhurwa police station area of the Jharkhand capital.
SSP Rakesh Ranjan informed about the enhancement of their reward money when asked for clues of the missing siblings, Ansh and Anshika, both below 5 from a poor vendor's family.
"They have been missing since January 2 and a missing case was registered in this connection the next day. A 40-member SIT has been constituted to locate them but so far there is no clue. We had earlier declared an award of Rs.51000 for their clue not the award amount has been enhanced to Rs.2 lakh," Ranjan said expressing his concern over delay in getting clue.
Meanwhile people in Dhurwa locality on Sunday observed daylong bandh to mount pressure on police. During the bandh the entire market of the locality remained closed and roads wore a deserted look.
RJD spokesperson and convenor of Ansh Anshika Bachao Sangharsh Samiti, Kailash Yadav said if police do not get back the siblings a massive agitation will be organised. "We will plan a Ranchi Bandh in case siblings do not return," Yadav said....
