BUXAR, Aug. 4 -- A mini gun manufacturing unir was unearthed at Dalsagar under Buxar Industrial police station area on Sunday, police said. A large cache of arms and ammunition along with tools to make illegal firearms were seized and six persons were arrested from the spot, they added. Buxar SP Shubham Arya constituted an SIT (special investigating team) led by sadar SDPO of Buxar Gaurav Pandey after a tip off that a mini gun factory was being operated at the house of Dinesh Yadav. The team comprised SHO of Buxar Industrial police station Sanjay Kumar, SI Madhu, ASI Sunil Kumar and sleuths of Buxar DIU (district intelligence unit). Police said three country-made pistols, 18 live cartridges, two magazines, four bikes, six android mobiles and tools to make illegal firearms were seized in the raid. Sandeep Yadav of Dalsagar, Anup Paswan and Dayanand Yadav, both residents of Belaur, Durgesh Upadhyay of Manjharia, Rajesh Kumar of Mirzapur under Kasim Bazar police station of Munger district and Sunil Poddar of Chandanbag of Kasim Bazar were arrested, police said, adding one accused managed to escape.
