PATNA, May 30 -- Ahead of Bihar assembly elections scheduled later this year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held meeting with state BJP MPs, legislators and party functionaries at state BJP headquarters in state capital on Thursday evening. PM Modi is on a two-day visit to state. PM Modi, who was on second visit to BJP state headquarters, during his 90 minutes meeting, is learnt to have given his mantra for success in assembly elections. Party leaders who attended the meeting said that the PM gave important tips to party leaders and motivated party office-bearers. "He touched different issues related to elections during his interaction," said a party leaders, part of the meeting. "The focus of his talk was on booth management and strengthening booth level workers," said another BJP leader, part of the meeting. The PM also took feedback from BJP leaders on Operation Sindoor. "The presence of PM at party office is enough to enthuse the party workers and it will go a long way in boosting the enthusiasm among all," said a leader. This is the first time since 'Operation Sindoor' on May 7, India's military action againstterror camps in Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror strike in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22,the PM arrives in Bihar. PM Modi who had vowed at Bihar's Madhubani on April 24 that India will give a befitting reply to those harbouring terror. On his arrival in Patna, the PM inaugurated the New Terminal Building of Jayprakash Narayan International Airport in Patna built at a cost of around Rs.1,200 crore, the terminal will cater to one crore passengers annually. He also laid the foundation stone of the new civil enclave of Bihta Airport worth over Rs.1,410 crore. The Bihta airport will serve the town which is rapidly emerging as an educational hub near Patna, housing IIT Patna and the proposed NIT Patna campus. PM Modi was accompanied by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Union Minister of Civil Aviation Rammohan Naidu. He was received at the airport by Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy CMs Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha. On Friday, Prime Minister will inaugurate, lay the foundation stone and dedicate to the nation multiple development projects worth over Rs.48,520 crore in Karakat. Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the Nabinagar Super Thermal Power Project, Stage-II (3x800 MW) in Aurangabad district worth over Rs.29,930 crore, which will aim at ensuring energy security for Bihar and eastern India. It will boost industrial growth, create job opportunities, and provide affordable electricity in the region. Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for various road projects including the Four-Laning of the Patna-Arrah-Sasaram section of NH-119A, and the Six-Laning of the Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata highway (NH-319B) and Ramnagar-Kacchi Dargah stretch (NH-119D), and construction of a new Ganga bridge between Buxar and Bharauli. These projects will create seamless high-speed corridors in the state and boost trade and regional connectivity. He will also inaugurate the four-laning of the Patna--Gaya--Dobhi section of NH--22, worth around Rs.5,520 crore, and the elevated highway and grade improvements at Gopalganj Town on NH--27. In line with his commitment to improving rail infrastructure across the country, the Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation the third Rail Line between Son Nagar - Mohammad Ganj worth over Rs.1330 crore....
