Patna ranks 14th in CBSE success
PATNA, May 14 -- Ankit Kumar Gupta, a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Patna, secured 98.8 percent marks in the 12th examination conducted by CBSE, the results of which were declared on Tuesday.
Akshita Shandilya, a student of St. Michael High School, scored 99% marks in 10th exams.
Regionwise, Patna region ranks 14th in the country with a pass percentage of 82.86%. The girls performed better that boys with a pass percentage of 87.41% against 79.73% of boys.
The performance of various schools of the capital has also been better in the 12th result. The performance of many schools including St. Michael High School, Loyola High School, Notre Dame Academy of the city was quite good. As soon as the results were released, a wave of happiness ran in the schools of the capital.
Ojus Mishra with 97.6% was the Science topper from St Michaels' High School, Abhinav (98%) topped in commerce and Shruti Kumari (96.6%) topped in Humanities from the school.
From DAV BSEB Colony, the overall pass percentage was 99% and number of students scoring 90% and above is 70.
Principal of St. Karen's High School over 46 students scored 90% and above. Ritika Ranjan scored 98.2 in Humanities, Karnika Raj (95.4%) in Commerce; Aayush Kumar (94,4% PCM), Adarsh Verma (95.4% PCB)
In the tenth result released by CBSE, Akshita Shandilya, a student of St Michael High School, has secured 99% marks. Anshika Prasad, a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya Nehru Path, has secured 95.8% marks....
