Ranchi, March 23 -- The ongoing Budget Session of the Jharkhand assembly is likely to be curtailed by few days in view of the coronavirus spread, hinted parliamentary affairs minister Alamgir Alam on Sunday.

"The business advisory committee of the assembly will meet when the House will resume on Monday and we will take a decision," said Alam on Sunday amid 'janata curfew' imposed nationwide to tackle the outbreak. The advisory committee consists of the assembly speaker, leader of the House, leaders of the legislature parties and other lawmakers, if appointed by the speaker.

Alam admitted that the matter is serious and the assembly committee has been convened to take a collective decision. The Budget Session is scheduled to end on March 28...
