Police claimed that Raja opened fire when they attempted to arrest him, and he was killed in retaliatory firing. A pistol and cartridges were recovered from the spot, along with playing cards, a disposable glass, and gutkha pouches. The area was marked with labels A, B, C, and D to assist forensic and scientific teams in evidence collection.
