Nitish offers his full guidance, cooperation to new bihar govt
PATNA, April 15 -- Soon after tendering his resignation as Bihar chief minister to Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Syed Ata Hasnain, Nitish Kumar on Tuesday said that the new state government would have his cooperation and guidance.
"We did a lot of work for the people of Bihar and a lot more will be done in the state in the days to come, and Bihar will advance a great deal," he said in a post on X, his last as CM.
Extending his thanks and best wishes to everyone, Kumar, the CM with the longest tenure, said that he decided to leave the post after serving the people for so long. "After today's cabinet meeting, I met the governor and submitted my resignation. Now, the new government will take Bihar forward," he added.
He said that for the next five years, i.e. from 2025 to 2030, the formation of 'Saat Nishchay-3' has been planned to further accelerate development work to advance Bihar significantly.
"The Centre is also cooperating in Bihar's development. For this, we thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With faster development, Bihar will join the league of top states and contribute to the nation's progress," he said....
