MP's supporter arrested for threat call
PATNA, June 22 -- Days after Rashtriya Lok Morcha's president and Rajya Sabha member, received a series of threat call and messages over his mobile phone on Thursday evening, the alleged caller was arrested on Saturday. The sender reportedly threatened of dire consequences, stating that if the political commentary continues, Kushwaha would be "finished off in 10 days."
The mobile phone used to make the threat call and messages to the MP Upendra Kushwaha was also recovered from accused Rakesh Kumar Tiwari, a resident of Darauli police station area of Siwan district.
The MP's personal secretary had filed a complaint at Sachivalya police station on June 19 in this regard.
According to Patna SSP Kartikey K Sharma, issued necessary directives soon after receiving the complaint....
