GAYA JI, June 15 -- In a gruesome incident, a 13-year-old girl has accused her father, a 45-year-old man, of blackmailing and forcibly raping her for over a year. The horrific incident occurred at a village under the jurisdiction of Mufassil police station in Gaya Ji district, police said. The girl also alleged that when she told her mother, she neither believed her nor protected her from her lustful father. Not only this, when the girl complained about this to her uncle, he also raped her when he took the poor girl to his village to save her, police said. The girl alleged that the father used to blackmail her and had forceful physical relations with her by alleging that she had an illicit relationship with the uncle. The girl made a video of the incident of rape by her father late on Thursday night and sent it to her uncle. Police were informed and a woman sub-inspector was sent to her house. The allegations were found to be true during inquiry and a case under sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act was registered against the father and uncle on the statement of the victim. The father was arrested, sub-divisional police officer Sunil Kumar Pandey said. The SDPO said that her medical examination was conducted and she was kept in the custody of her grandmother under police vigil. As the court was closed on Saturday and Sunday, her statement under section 164 of Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita will be recorded on Monday. The accused's uncle works in Bangalore.
