BETTIAH, April 29 -- A middle-aged woman was allegedly gang-raped by three men at gunpoint and her video made viral on social media in Bihar's East Champaran district, police said on Monday. The matter came to fore after the husband of the woman approached Mahila police on Sunday. In a FIR lodged, the woman said the three men took her to a secluded place when she stepped out of her house to graze her goats and subjected her to sexual assaults at gunpoint at a village under Banjariya police station of East Champaran on April 23. "They filmed the incident and threatened to leak the video, if approached police. They, however, pitched the video on social media platform," the woman told police in her complaint. The rape survivor identified the accused as residents of Ajgarwa village. East Champaran's SP Swarn Prabhat on Monday said, "An SIT has been formed under the leadership of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP). Raids are on to arrest the accused."...
