Medical officers told to increase surveillance for covid-19 cases
Mussoorie, May 23 -- The state government on Thursday instructed chief medical officers (CMOs) to increase surveillance and remain vigilant regarding Covid-19 amid a fear of reports of rise in Covid cases.
"While Uttarakhand currently has no confirmed Covid-19 cases the chief medical officers of all districts have been urged to remain vigilant regarding Covid-19, following an alert from the Centre .and although the situation remains normal an increase in patient numbers has been observed in states like Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Kerala over the past week," Dr Sunita Tamta, in charge director general of the state health department, said in her letter to CMOs....
