Man held while trying to cross int'l border
Barmer/Jaisalmer, Nov. 1 -- The Border Security Force (BSF) has detained a 40-year-old man for allegedly attempting to cross into Pakistan through the international border in Jaisalmer district, officials said on Friday.
According to officials, the man, identified as Mohammad Iqbal, is a resident of Araria district in Bihar. People aware of the development said Iqbal was caught near the Murar border area in Jaisalmer during a routine BSF patrol on Thursday evening. The troops noticed his suspicious movements close to the border fence. and immediately stopped him for questioning....
