Ranchi, Aug. 11 -- A 32-year-old man, arrested on December 16 last year in Ranchi on orders of chief minister Hemant Soren for allegedly molesting school-going girls, died during treatment at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) on Saturday night, three days after the local court granted him bail, officials said on Sunday. Police suspect it to be a case of suicide. "The youth attempted suicide at his residence. Family members admitted him to RIMS, where he died at night. A case of unnatural death has been registered," a police official said. Officer-in-charge of Hindpiri police station, Sunil Kushwaha, said: "He was agitated after getting bail three days ago. According to his family members, he died by suicide. No suicide note has been recovered. His body was sent for autopsy."...
