PATNA, June 21 -- Rajya Sabha MP and national president of Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) Upendra Kushwaha received threat calls allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang on Thursday, he said on social media. Kushwaha shared this information through his social media account X on Thursday night in which he mentioned that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had threatened to eliminate him. "Today evening between 8:52 PM and 9:20 PM I received 7 consecutive threatening calls in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi Gang from mobile numbers +916305129156 and +919229567466. Also, at 8:57 PM, I was told via MMS/SMS from mobile number +917569196793 that if I continue to speak politically against a particular party, I will have to face the consequences. I was also told that I would be finished off in 10 days. SSP Patna should take immediate cognizance and take strict action against the culprits. Such threats are unacceptable in a democratic system. This entire disruption is expected to end immediately," Kushwaha posted on X (As translated from Hindi).
