KATIHAR, May 11 -- In a tragic incident in Katihar district, a driver was charred to death after a speeding truck rammed into a stationary dumper at a petrol pump on NH-31 under Pothia police station limits, police said. The deceased was identified as 40-year-old Pramod Sahni, a resident of Bela village under Simri police station in Khagaria district. According to police, the accident occurred when the driver was asleep inside the stationary dumper (hyva) parked at the petrol pump.
