Ranchi, Dec. 27 -- Jharkhand High Court imposed fine of Rs.1 lakh on state water resource department officials for filing 'most bogus and frivolous' case in the matter involving a Bihar-based construction company. An advocate said a division bench of Chief Justice Tarlok Singh Chouhand and Justice Rajesh Shankar. passed the order. "It is an important judgement exposing the harassing attitude of a section of government officials," he said. "The present civil review is dismissed with a cost of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh) to be deposited by all the petitioners out of their own pocket within a period of four weeks with the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA), Ranchi," the order reads....
