PATNA, Aug. 7 -- Bihar police has claimed that for the first time in the country, 21,391 newly recruited constables including 10,200 males, 11, 170 females and eight transgender, are undergoing basic training together. "At least 33 police lines of the state have been notified as training centres," said ADG Training Sanjay Singh on Wednesday. "Jeevika Didi's have been entrusted with the responsibility of running the mess for the trainees and an MoU has also been signed in this regard," the ADG added.
