Ranchi, Oct. 30 -- The stay on the publication of results of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC)'s combined graduate level (CGL) examination held on September 21 and 22 last year continued on Wednesday after the high court deferred the hearing to Thursday, people aware of the development said. The Jharkhand high court imposed a stay on the publication of the results of the CGL examination, held across more than 800 centres for over 2,000 graduate-level state government posts, based on a public interest litigation (PIL) filed by a coaching institute director, Prakash Kumar, who had approached the court seeking a proper probe into the conduct of the examination, pointing out irregularities and alleging a paper leak. An HC advocate said the hearing started in the first half and continued after lunch break in the division bench of CJ Tarlok Singh Chouhan and Justice Rajesh Shankar. "The hearing took place on Wednesday before a bench comprising the Chief Justice and Justice Rajesh Shankar. Advocate General Rajiv Ranjan and Advocate Piyush Chitresh represented the state government, while senior advocate and former advocate general Ajit Kumar and Supreme Court advocate Ajit Sinha represented the petitioner," the advocate said....
