This has raised a million dollar question over dry Bihar. As soon as the programme started, fishermen complained about the DFO and soon the DM called him to inquire about it. He grew suspicious about his behaviour and asked him to meet him in the circuit house soon after the programme. As soon as he reached the circuit house, the DM asked police to check him with a breath analyser machine, which found the trace of liquor and he was arrested and sent to jail on the directive of the DM. The DM said, "The government is committed to enforcing the total ban on liquor and no one, whatever he is, can be spared." Excise inspector Ashok Kumar said, "The DFO was caught even earlier and was released after he paid a fine."
