Indian students return from war-ravaged Iran
NEW DELHI, March 16 -- A batch of 70 Indian students stranded in war-hit Iran returned safely via Dubai on Sunday morning on a commercial flight - Flydubai Flight FZ441. These students were mostly pursuing medical studies and majority of them hail from Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.
"I have landed and Alhamdulillah! I am safe," a 22-year-old Naina Taiba told her brother on call as soon as she reached the baggage collection hall at Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport upon returning from war-torn Iran on Sunday morning. The 22-year-old said she felt a deep sense of relief after safely arriving in India.
A similar emotion was shared by almost all 70 Indian students.
According to the All India Medical Students Association, there are approximately 1,000 to 1,200 Indians studying at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences....
