ARA, Nov. 20 -- An IB (intelligence bureau) officer was crushed to death by a JCB on Ara-Mohania national highway near Kitapur village under Jagdishpur police station. The JCB driver managed to escape from scene. The victim died on spot. The victim was identified as 36-yr- old Vinay Kumar Singh, of Baise (Fafdar) village under Murar police station of Buxar. The victim was posted at Ara as junior intelligence officer in IB. The family members said on November 17, there was a 'tilak' ceremony of brother in-law of victim at Devki Singh Ke Tola village under Jagdishpur police station. The brother in law of victim was to marry on November 22. To participate in the 'tilak' and marriage ceremony of his brother in law, victim with his family had arrived at his in laws house on Monday. After 'tilak' ceremony on Monday, Singh attended his duty on Tuesday at Ara. After completing work, he was returning to his in-laws house riding a bike in the late evening of Tuesday when he was knocked down by the JCB which crushed him....
