DARBHANGA, July 31 -- A minor girl allegedly abducted from Haat Gachhi under Alinagar police station limits in Darbhanga district was rescued on Wednesday, police said. Acting on a complaint filed by the girl's father on July 29, police registered an FIR and launched an investigation. CCTV footage and technical inputs helped trace the girl and the alleged abductor near a petrol pump in Benipur around 1 pm on Wednesday after an extensive manhunt by multiple police teams.
