BETTIAH, Jan. 7 -- An 18-year-old girl and her 20-year-old uncle, who had eloped a day earlier, were found dead in a village in East Champaran district of Bihar on Tuesday, police said, adding that "hate killing" or suicide is being probed. Sharing the information, Motihari Sadar-1 sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) Dilip Kumar said that the bodies were found hanging from a tree at Baidha Tola under Sagauli police station in the district around 1 pm on Tuesday. "During the investigation, police found that the duo belonged to the same partidar and were related to each other as uncle and niece by blood," the sub-divisional police officer said. The duo had eloped from their native village on Monday, which falls under the Harsidih block of East Champaran. The matter came to the fore after some villagers spotted the bodies hanging from a tree at a place surrounded by thick vegetation and informed the police. "The bodies have been sent for post-mortem. The matter is being probed from all angles, including murder (hate killing) and suicide," SDPO Dilip Kumar said....
