Gadkari's plane makes unscheduled landing at Gaya
GAYA JI, July 4 -- Union minister Nitin Gadkari's plane suddenly landed at Gaya International Airport on Thursday afternoon. He was going from Jharkhand's Garhwa to Ranchi where he had to lay the foundation stone and inaugurate projects, officials said.
Gaya International Airport director Bangajit Saha said the minister's plane was diverted due to bad weather and low visibility due to heavy rain on the way and landed safely at Gaya International Airport at 4.30 pm.
As soon as the minister's plane was given permission to land, the paramilitary forces cordoned off the runway and ensured a safe landing. He took rest in the airport's waiting lounge. A chartered plane arrived from Ranchi by which the minister left at 5.30 pm....
