BHABUA, May 6 -- A Bhabua special excise court awarded life imprisonment to an accused found guilty of selling poisonous liquor that killed three labourers in 2021. The special court of additional district and sessions judge Anil Kumar Thakur, on Monday, found accused Munna Musahar of Kudasan village under Bhabua town police station guilty of selling poisonous liquor that killed the labourers. Ramkeshi Kahar and Lal Mohar Bind of Kudasan and Chandrika Paswan of Shivpura village had purchased and consumed the spurious liquor at the accused's house and died during treatment, special public prosecutor Udham Narayan Singh said. Lal Mohar Bind's wife Phula Devi had registered the case and police submitted a charge-sheet against four accused Munna Musahar, Krishnanand Tiwary, Vinod Tiwary and Om Prakash Kumar.
