Jodhpur, July 13 -- The principal seat of the Rajasthan high court at Jodhpur entered the second half of 2025 with a total pendency of 258,412 cases, according to the official category-wise statement released for the month of June. Due to the summer vacation, when only vacation benches remain functional, overall disposals remained modest, while pendency across both civil and criminal categories continued to inch upward.
The court disposed of 1,534 cases during June, while 6,085 new cases were instituted. This pushed the cumulative pendency up by 4,551 cases in a single month. The disposal included 49 main civil cases, 1,315 main criminal cases, and 170 miscellaneous matters, covering both interlocutory and procedural applications. As of June 30, the civil side accounted for 1,29,324 pending cases....
