The FIR was lodged with Ahiyapur police station on the basis of a complaint by JD(U) leader Savita Shahi. The police took action against the MLA only after intervention of police headquarters. After the complaint, the investigation of the case was handed over to sub-inspector Bittu Kumar, who found the allegation true. Earlier a meeting was held between the two parties in the presence of the BDO regarding this plot.
