BETTIAH, Oct. 5 -- A middle-aged farmer was allegedly killed by a tiger in Bihar's West Champaran district on Friday evening, officials said.
Following the deaths of two farmers in back-to-back tiger attacks, the forest department on Saturday sounded an alert, urging villagers to avoid venturing towards forest areas to graze their cattle.
On October 1, a 61-year-old farmer, Kisun Mahati, was killed by a tiger at Khekhariya village in the Manguraha forest range of the Valmiki Tiger Reserve (VTR) in West Champaran....
