PATNA, Feb. 21 -- In a letter chief minister Nitish Kumar and deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, ex-servicemen from army, navy and air force demanded reservations in state government jobs besides quota under the banner of Veterans India, Bihar, in schools and academic institutions like medical, engineering and other technical institutions.
The demands put forth by ex-servicemen also include quota in sainik colonies in the state.
Besides, the defence personnel, also want the government to set up district ex servicemen welfare board in all the districts and that they be appointed in these boards.
