BHABUA, June 14 -- Eleven teachers have been suspended in Kaimur district for organising a chicken party during school hours. The action was taken after the allegations were found true following an inquiry by a two-member committee of education officials, district program officer (DPO), education, Akshya Kumar Pandey said on Friday. The teachers relished chicken while school children were served mid-day meal. After a video clip depicting the teachers enjoying a chicken party in the upgraded middle school at Jhali village in Rampur block area of the district went viral on social media platforms, the team of DPO Shambhu Kumar and Block education officer Tejaswini Anand was constituted for a thorough probe. The team found that 10 teachers of the upgraded middle school in Jhali and one from primary school in Pandepur had prepared the chicken and enjoyed a party in the school during school hours on May 28. The school children had been served normal food as per mid-day meal menu. Terming the teacher's action as professional misconduct, negligence and indiscipline, the teachers were suspended with immediate effect after their explanation on the show-cause notice was not found satisfactory....
