Dhanbad Police Enforces 'Zero Tolerance' Policy Ahead of Ram Navami
Dhanbad, March 25 -- The Dhanbad Police has announced a comprehensive security plan with a strict "zero tolerance" policy to ensure peaceful and orderly celebrations of Ram Navami across the district. In an official press release, the administration outlined stringent guidelines, warning of firm action against any violations.
According to the release, all processions and akhara groups will be required to strictly follow routes specified in their licenses, with no deviations permitted. The number of participants in each procession has been capped at 100 to ensure better crowd control and security management. Organising committees have also been directed to conduct mandatory videography and photography of processions.
Dhanbad Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prabhat Kumar said the measures are aimed at maintaining communal harmony and public safety. "There will be zero tolerance towards any violation. Strict legal action, including cancellation of licenses and imprisonment, will be taken against those found breaking the rules," he stated.
The use of DJs, display of weapons, and performance of dangerous stunts during processions have been completely banned. Authorities have also prohibited objectionable songs, provocative slogans, or any content that could hurt religious sentiments. Violators will face immediate legal consequences.
To strengthen surveillance, police have intensified monitoring through drones in sensitive areas, along with continuous flag marches across the district. A robust cyber watch has also been put in place, with officials closely tracking social media platforms for rumours or inflammatory content....
