KATIHAR, Aug. 8 -- Communist Party of India Marxist-Leninist (CPI-ML) leader and party MLA from Balrampur in Bihar's Katihar, Mehboob Alam, came down heavily upon Purnia MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav, seeking clarification from Congress party whether he was a part of the Grand Alliance (GA) in Bihar. Alam rejected Yadav's repeated claim of being a true Congress soldier. "His love for Congress is nothing but a hollow claim," he alleged and sought his clarification publicly to dispel confusion in political circles. Alam objected to Pappu Yadav's interference in GA and declared his statements totally unwarranted. He demanded from Congress top brass to clarify the status of Yadav in the party. "I can say you, he (Pappu Yadav) is a part of neither Congress party nor GA," the MLA said and asserted. Alam, the lone Left MLA in Seemanchal has it in political circles that his voice against Pappu Yadav will give a boost to Tejashwi Yadav's dream of becoming the chief minister....
