PATNA, March 27 -- Chief minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday sanctioned Rs. 100 crore from the CM Relief Fund to provide food and shelter for daily wage earners, including those from outside the state, who have been stranded in the state capital and other Bihar cities in the wake of countrywide lockdown imposed for containing Covid-19 pandemic.

The CM, who chaired a high-level meeting also attended by deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi, said the government would also extend all possible help to the people of the state who are faced with a similar situation in places of their livelihood in other states.
